1. Using PixMedium
PixMedium provides online photo galleries for photographers to deliver finished work to clients (client galleries) and to collect and share guest photographs at events (event galleries), accessed by link or QR code. By creating an account or gallery, uploading content, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase a plan. Guests under 18 may use a gallery only with appropriate permission and supervision. You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in email and gallery links secure, and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorised use.
2. Who supplies the service
PixMedium is a trading name operated by Eimantas Alkevicius, whose service address is:
59 Jellicoe Road
Great Yarmouth
NR30 4AN
United Kingdom
Email: [email protected]. Where paid plans are offered, Stripe processes payments but is not the seller.
3. Gallery access and retention
Client galleries are unlisted. The photographer chooses how each one opens: as a public link that anyone holding the link can view, or with client sign-in, where only the email addresses the photographer lists can view after confirming a one-time code sent to that address. Where enabled, viewers can download or favourite photographs. Event galleries are unlisted shared walls: anyone with the link or QR code may view, and — where the gallery allows it — upload and download content.
Storage and gallery numbers depend on the active plan and are shown in the service. Event galleries do not expire — guest uploads follow whatever opening and closing times the owner sets, and the gallery stays until the owner deletes it. Client galleries may carry an expiry date set by their owner, and where one applies the gallery displays its timing. PixMedium may remove unlawful, abusive, unsafe or technically harmful content at any time, and may remove dormant free accounts as described in the privacy policy.
4. Paid plans, price and renewal
Where a paid plan is offered, checkout shows the price and currency, billing period, applicable taxes, any discount, trial or promotional period, the first payment date and whether the plan renews automatically. PixMedium does not add an undisclosed payment fee, and Stripe securely processes payments.
Unless checkout states otherwise, a paid plan renews for the same billing period until cancelled. We may change a future renewal price with reasonable advance notice, giving you an opportunity to cancel. If a payment fails we may retry it, request an updated payment method, restrict paid features, or return the account to the free plan after reasonable notice.
5. Cancelling a paid plan
You may stop automatic renewal at any time through the billing controls or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Consumers may also have a statutory cancellation period — for example, UK consumers normally have 14 days after entering a distance service contract; where you ask for the service to start during that period and then cancel, we may deduct the proportionate value already supplied where permitted by law.
6. Refunds and service problems
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights. If a paid service is not supplied with reasonable care and skill, does not match its description, is unavailable for a material period, or a payment is duplicated or incorrect, contact support so we can investigate and provide the remedy required by law. After any applicable cancellation period, payments are not normally refunded merely because a service was unused, unless the law requires otherwise.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of the photographs and other content you upload. You grant PixMedium the limited permission needed to process, resize, re-encode, store, display, moderate, download and transmit that content for the purpose of operating your gallery.
Do not upload content that violates privacy, copyright, intellectual-property, publicity, safeguarding or other rights.
8. Moderation
On event galleries, visitors may report photographs. Reported photos can be hidden and may be blocked after reaching a reporting threshold. Gallery owners and PixMedium may remove content at any time. Automated or community moderation may make mistakes; contact [email protected] for urgent review.
9. Service changes and suspension
PixMedium may update the service, its security controls and plan features to maintain reliability, comply with law or improve the product. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect users, prevent damage, enforce these terms or comply with a lawful request. You may stop using the service at any time; ending access does not prevent us retaining limited records where required for security, disputes, legal obligations or backups.
10. Availability, backups and liability
PixMedium is provided with reasonable care, but uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed. Galleries are a sharing and delivery service, not the sole archival copy of important photographs — photographers and guests should keep their own originals. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to those rights, PixMedium is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, business losses suffered by consumers, third-party sharing, or content removed under a displayed retention period.
11. Governing law
PixMedium operates from England and these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove mandatory protections or rights to use local courts that apply in your country.
12. Support and complaints
Questions, cancellation notices, refund requests and complaints can be sent to [email protected]. Include your account email and the link to the relevant gallery where available. Never send full card details.
